Japan New Zealand Business Council Conference, Auckland

The Asia New Zealand Foundation has four places for young leaders to attend the Japan New Zealand Business Council conference in Auckland on 6-8 November 2012.

Delegates from New Zealand and Japan will attend the conference, which will focus on celebrating and building on the diplomatic and trade links between the two countries.

Applications have now closed.

Costs

The Asia New Zealand Foundation will cover the registration fee of $500.

If you live outside Auckland, you will need to arrange and pay for your transport and accommodation costs.

Selection criteria

Applicants should:

  • be able to demonstrate a commitment to and an interest in Japan and business
  • be actively engaged in the network through attendance at recent events and regional activities.

Please send your CV/resume, a completed registration form and a one-page cover letter to Anna-marie Luke.

Your cover letter should outline why you want to attend the conference and explain how it is relevant to your work and interests.

Selection process

  • Candidates will be short-listed by a selection panel, including Asia:NZ business director James Penn.
  • The acting executive director will review the selection and have final approval.
